Charm fades—but poetic rizz? That lingers like a song stuck in your soul
Question: What is your best poetic rizz?
Let’s be honest—anyone can shoot their shot, but poetic rizz is when your words don’t just aim for the heart—they linger in the soul like a haunting melody.
The best poetic rizz isn’t loud or crude. It’s a whisper that hits harder than a scream. It doesn’t demand attention; it deserves it.
Here’s mine:
“If I Were the Moon”
If I were the moon,
I’d envy the gravity that keeps you here,
Because even from the heavens,
You still feel too far.
If I were a poet,
I’d burn every verse I’ve ever written,
Because your eyes rewrite
Every metaphor I thought was brilliant.
If I were a storm,
I’d beg the wind to touch your skin gently,
To be the breeze that brushes
Your collarbone like a whispered secret.
And if I were nothing more than a breath,
I’d ask to be your last—
Not because I wish for endings,
But because I know how to stay
Even when all else leaves.
Because true rizz isn’t just about charm—it’s about intention. It’s showing someone they’re not just the subject of your lines… they’re the whole damn language.
